8 month old refusing bottles?
DS is 8 months for this week, and for the past week has started refusing his bottles. I am lucky if he drinks 20 ounces a day, and lately it's been less than that (and he's 32" long, so that's not much). I think today he had between 10 and 15 ounces.
He's eating 3 large meals a day, but refuses bottles. I tried giving him a small dinner tonight so he would drink his 8PM bottle before bed, but he wailed and refused it, so I fed him a yogurt and he downed the whole container.
Any advice? Is this usual? I think it may have started as a stomach bug, but is it bad that he still wants nothing to do with the bottles?

Really? He did just have a third come in, and I think there are more on the way. Thank you, I was thinking he might be sick!

DS did that 2 weeks ago when he had an ear infection. How is he otherwise?

He's a bit cranky, but I attributed that to the teething. He's not pulling on his ears or anything, and no fever...What were the ear infection symptoms?

can I crash and ask....what did you do when she refused? just keep trying or just give her more solids. just preparing myself ahead of time

Nothing really. I just kept offering it to her and if she didn't want it, she didn't want it. I figured if she were starving, she'd eat! She snapped out of it in a few days....

Teeth or ear infection. My son never got a fever and rarely touched his ears...just wouldn't sleep and drank a lot less.
