You rock ! Thank you thank you thank you !

I gotta get me some photoshop skills. Chat Icon Beth now you can shop around for plants. Cypress's will look nice in front. But like Greenfreak said, be careful what kind of bush or tree you buy for that left corner. It could grow too big and then you have problems with having to cut it down. Chat Icon Go to a good nursery to shop around at least. We bought our plants at Garden Department in Coram on Rt. 112. They were very helpful. Or if Hick's Nursery is closer for you talk with them and then buy what they recommend somewhere else cheaper. Chat Icon

Yes def going to go to Garden Depot and talk with them. I don't really know if that is the name of the tree that I have been seeing and liking. I am going to literally take a pic of the one I saw and bring it with me to show them. I don't want this tree to grow too large because of where we are putting it but I need something to be tall enough to cover the dreaded a/c.
We did great landscaping in front of our driveway and to the right of it, years ago. There is a cypress in there and I love it. I will probably mix and match w what we have currently. I am more attracted to just shades of green rather than color. I know a lil odd, but it keeps it simple for me =).

And when I say cypress it's a Golden Mop Cypress. I believe they only grow to around 4' by 4', so be careful to read the instructions for how far apart to plant them. In the 1 year we have ours, they have def. grown some. I need to prune them actually. Chat Icon I don't want our garden to over grow.

Do you like this plant? Mine is yellow and green, but it comes in white & green also. Name - Golden Euonymus

Here is a close up for the white & green one. Not mine.

This is mine from the backyard. I'm sorry I don't know what the white and green one is called, besides Euonymus. Chat Icon

And this is a Green Spire Euonymus

Oh and when you go to Garden Department, take good pictures of your house with you. Print them out and bring them with you. They were so helpful with us because we had pictures. They told us what to plant where and what would grow taller or smaller. Take a few pics from different angles if you can and tell them what you are taking out. And don't forget to mention you want to "hide" the A/C. But maybe just a pretty tree would work for you. GL, can't wait to see what you pick out. Chat Icon
