How many people does a full tray of baked ziti feed?
My DH's family is having a big party this weekend and my SIL is ordering food. Baked ziti is $50 for a full tray so I offered to make it bc it is so easy and can be done for so much cheaper. There will be plenty of other trays of food there as well. But for 60 people, how many trays should I make?

I would make 2, especially if there is going to be other food. Ziti is great because it makes really good leftovers too

It freezes well too. It kind of depends on how much other food there will be at the party. 2 can't hurt. Never can have too much ziti!

I had about 20 people for Christmas and we just about finished one tray. I would make at least 2 trays for 60 people.

depends how much other food there will be... i had 10 of us for DH's 30th birthday and made 2 trays, along with 1 tray of shrimp and linguine. i had 1 tray of ziti left over. if there is going to be a ton of other food, 2 should be good. if they are really banking on the ziti, then *maybe* 3? i am always making more than necessary, i think i'm so scared of not having enough - but we like leftover so it's ok!
