What else are you serving?
That would be enough if it is more of a side as opposed to main course.
i would do 2 boxes if it is a main course without a lot of sides.

It is a main course, there's also salad and garlic bread but the pasta is the main course.

For 7 people I would make at LEAST 2 boxes if there are going to be lots of side dishes.
I would make 3, or 4 to be safe, if there are not going to be a lot of sides.
If there are leftovers, bring it for lunch tomorrow!
ed: when I make dinner for me and DH, I make 1/2 - 3/4 of 1 box
agree - i make about 1/4 box per person if it is a main course but not the only course - so if that's all you're really making then i'd make 2+ boxes

If you're only serving salad and garlic bread then you're going to need about 3 boxes. DH and I can usually eat about 1/2lb each if I am not serving anything else.

DH and I usually use a 1/2 box for ourselves. I would make 3 boxes. It's not expensive and you can always use leftovers. You can make a baked ziti or a pasta salad with the leftovers.

I think 3 boxes sounds about right. Even with the meat. You don't wanna have to little food.

I would do 2 boxes assuming it's spaghetti. The last time I made a whole box of pasta (angel hair spaghetti), it was for 4 people. We had a lot left over. We served it with salad, garlic bread, and sausages.
