christmas tip for cleaning ladies?

i have a cleaning lady who comes every two weeks. it's $75. she's the owner of the business and usually has a second woman with her. that woman has been sick so she hasn't had a second lady in a few weeks.

how much would you tip each of them? is $75 each good? i love the job they do and it's not the second lady's fault she got sick. i also think they should get the same amount since they both work very hard for 2-3 hours.

Re: christmas tip for cleaning ladies?

Last year was the first Xmas with our cleaning lady. At the time, she was charging $65 (now it's $70). We gave her a total of $150 the last visit b4 xmas, making it a $85 tip.

I may do a little less this year bc she's s ucking lately.

My cleaning lady also comes with someone else. She charges $65 each week. So I actually planned on giving her $200 for her to split as she sees fit...she doesn't always come with the same helper.

that might be a good idea. she came yesterday and the original lady still isn't back. so now i'm not sure if she's ever coming back. there have been different replacements every time she comes, so i don't want to give them the same amount as the main lady who comes every single time.

Your using my girl right?

I just give her an extra week and a little gift. She is always very appreciative.

I am never really home when they come so I don't know even who the other person is or even if she always comes so I am not including herChat Icon
