Sex while pregnant?
Um, ok...I have absolutely NO desire to have sex. Poor DH. I really feel bad for him. We've had sex once since I got my BFP and I hated every second of it. I just don't want to be intimate right now, and DH is even more attracted to me than usual so it is very difficult.
Do I give in to sex once in awhile just to make him happy, or do I tell him my true feelings?

I am the same exact way, I am hoping that once I feel better and my morning sickness is gone I will get some desire back... he has been pretty understanding so far but not for long I think

I didn't want to through the 1st trimester at all.
I made an exception for our anniversary weekend.
Then I had the bleeding issues from my cervix so I'm on "pelvic rest". Most likely for the rest of my pregnancy.
Poor guy has to get reacquainted with his porn collection!!

If I recall it has happened in the past..its after i deliver that I do no want to be bothered for a bit.

Hmm my sister told me that 2nd trimester I would be a real horn dog - so I just kept prominsing DH that this would happen. I too had some bleeding in the first and Dr. said to take it easy. Anyway, tell him next tri you will be all over him, he'll just have to wait it out, lol!

I give in. DH never asks, he doesn't want to put me on the spot.
2nd trimester was wonderful. 3rd trimester...its a chore.
Personally, I feel its important to still do it. Sex was always a big part of my marriage, and I want DH to know that even with the baby on the way, I still want to have intimacy with my husband.
I have really been trying to let him know that I still "need" a relationship with him. Even if sometimes I am so uncomfortable and wish he would give my the couch to myself and go sit somewhere else, I force myself to scratch the back of his head. Truthfully, I am so contempt with laying on the couch, both hands on my belly...but I don't want DH to feel replaced or tossed aside.
so, I say take one for the team. Its a few minutes each week. Makes all the difference in the world to them. Also, be grateful he finds you hot...

I understand how you feel and felt the same way.
He was and is very understanding and I felt terrible but it got better for me - I did feel I had to try even though I was not into it.

The postpartum 6 weeks seems really long to me too.
So lets say, I did it last night Then I always count down..like okay, if I don't do it again, its 6 weeks plus the 2.5 weeks I have left before due date.

I had no desire in the 1st trimester...in the 2nd (now) I want it all the time...but he doesn't want it as much because it is awkward when we have it. Don't FORCE yourself to do it...

NO desire at all!! I feel yucky or unattractive 1/2 the time but I do give in. I dont want DH feeling neglect, which he has at times.

i'm embarrassed to say my poor DH has only gotten it TWICE and I'm 41 weeks along!!! Poor guy! and believe me there is no getting anywhere near me at this point!!!

We have sex. Definitely not as often as before, but I would say at least 2-3x a month.
I feel it is very important to stay connected to hubby in that way.

In the beginning I was always wanting to have sex, then when I went through my M/S stage I couldnt even think about it. But now things are back to normal

IMO, i would give in and give it up every now and again. When you are feeling good, or just ok, it probably wont last that long since its not happening that often.

No not weird. If you are then we are weirds together ( Not PG yet) but when I was PG with my son I could not get enough... even up until the day before I went into labor 
The only thing that changed was I didn't want to in the morning b/c of the morning sickness.

With crazy schedules for both of us, we are both exhausted so we try to make sure we do it once a week. I wish we had energy for more but both of us have a lot on our plates.
As far as postpartum 6 weeks, my best friend gave in after 4 and she said it was fine.
Depending on how I feel postpartum since I am due in February, maybe we will be celibate for Lent and then on Easter we can go crazy!! We did this one year when we were dating and it was intense!

Your not alone...
I have tried it ONCE so far. Although we werent allowed till , until after 8 weeks...so technically its been once in 3 weeks and that sounds better then once in 12 weeks...LOL
Im not in the mood at ALL, too tired.

We weren't allowed until week 8 and we can't after week 22.
To be honest, I can barely roll over in bed these days never mind do anything else Last time we tried, it was quite comical and we wound up cracking up.

I wouldn't count on that one
My friends told me the SAME thing and my sex drive never returned at all--I closed up shop for good at 33 weeks
Well, I'm in the 2nd trimester now--17 1/2 weeks--and nothing doing yet!
I "give in" about 1x a week, or maybe every other week (shhhhh...don't tell DH I said that!). Once it starts it's not as bad as I expected!

we live in apartments, so my window is really close to the neighbors. One time during sex, the window was open, I realized half way through and laughed...it sounded more like we were redecorating the room then making love.

I have not had any sexual desire AT ALL through any of my 3 pregnancies... my poor DH is good about it though.... I feel like a whale and just getting into bed and getting comfortable is a chore, I'm certainly not graceful enough to even try
