Where can we stay in Boston???
We are hoping to take the train to Boston this weekend to spend Sat in Boston and the nigth in a hotel there..
we are not looking to spend a ton..just a regular hotel to sleep in....
suggestions??

We stayed at the Sheraton near Fenway. I thought it was a great place to stay.

I have stayed at the Marriot near the aquarium...Long Warf I think. It's nice and if you get it at the right time it may not be too pricey.

Boston hotels can definately be pricey. Last time DH and I stayed on the Cambridge side at the Royal Sonesta hotel.

I definitely suggest staying in Cambridge. It's right on the red line and you'll be able to get into the center of the city quickly. Staying downtown can be really expensive. The Hyatt in Cambridge is nice and right on the water.

I just got back and stayed at a WONDERFUL hotel - the Hotel Marlowe. It is a boutique hotel with very reasonable prices. It was wonderful!!

Also check tripadvisor.com --- you will see the reviews

just to let you know th eBoston St PAtricks Day parade is this Sunday so it will be crowded I think up there!!!
