How long does Butalbital generic fioricet stay in your system
It's no big deal I think but my friend in Califonria said he applied for a job and had some blood/urine work done and forget to put down that he was taking Butalbital generic fioricet. He's been off it for weeks but very upset that he didn't put that med down...

If he hasnt taken it for weeks it should be out of his system by now, especially if he only took it occasionally. He should bring the bottle with the prescription with him to the test and if they ask him if he takes any medications he can show them the bottle.

Yes, he diidnt put the drug down and it was like 8 to 10 not sure what he said. I think it should be out of his system by now don't you think.... Not sure why he's so upset about this it's only meds and not drugs...

A general urine drug screen just tests for categories of drugs. In my hospital it shows: cannaboids, amphetamines, cocaine, barbituates, benzodiazapines, PCP, opiods, methadone. I think most of them will test for these 8. If lets say he was taking the fioricet for days up until the test he would show positive for barbituates. That is probably why he is scared about it.
The test does not specify what medication it its. Like if you take percocet because you just had surgery and then took a drug test it would show positive for opiods, and the tester would not know if you took herion or percocet unless you show them a prescription because they are both opiods, kwim??
These tests are ridiculous though, because things like cocaine are out of your system in like a day or two, but marijuana can last up to a month or more depending on the usage. Its like if you are a meth user or a cokehead you can obstain for 3 days and be fine, but if you smoke pot once in a while you will fail a drug test and be labeled a user
