What are you looking for in particular? crossover? 3rd row? I absolutely love my crossover, a Buick Enclave. It has a very roomy 3rd row, tons of features, but it's about $40K, give or take.

we love our honda CR-V. by truck, do you mean SUV? we leased it and like it so much that we are planning on either leasing a new one or buying out the one we have. it's great and it was very reasonable -- around $24,000 and up.

Thanks Ladies...I am really open to anything crossover or truck...Just not a pick up truck. DH just wants to TRY to stay under 30,000.
I would like a nice size trunk...

I'm happy with my Jeep Cheroke Larado. Lifetime warrantee - I got an '08 model when the '09s were coming out so I got a really good deal.
I'm still getting used to the gas milage - 18 mpg. I had a little nissan sentra that got about 30 mpg.
It rides well, handles well.
I'm not sure what's going on in the auto industry...

We have a 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor with 9000 miles on it and we love it. It rides smooth, has tons of power, is comfortable and decent on gas.
We also have a 2001 Ford Escape with 68k miles and it runs smooth also, is great on gas, has a lot of power for a small truck. It has a v6 engine, 4 wheel drive, and it is comfortable.

we have a cherokee...it's 4 years old but hasn't given us any trouble whatsoever. as a matter of fact, I just brought it in for an inspection/oil change and our mechanic said how great the cars run and they should make it to 200K...not sure if we will do that, but nice to have the option.
It is on the smaller side though of similar SUVs (Pathfinder, Murano) we found after renting those cars, but it's also less expensive as well.

We are very happy with our Ford Edge. With some frills it's about $37k. No third row, but very roomy. Great trunk space, DVD player, Sirius satellite radio and much more.

How about the Acura MDX..I would get a 2007 or 2008 (right before they changed the body). It is really roomy and drives really nice. My MIL has one and she loves it. They bought it used and got a great deal on it.
Another one to check out is the Mazda CX-9. For the options you want you should be able to get it under $30K.

I have a Nissan Pathfinder and really like it. The trunk is super roomy when the 3rd row isn't up. They have a back-up camera, Bose sound system - some really nice features.
