Is there a good car seat that doesn't cost $300.00?
We have to buy two and the Britax seats are so expensive! Any other brands that are safe? TIA

We just got the Graco Comfort Sport (I think) and I like it. I think it was only $80.

this is what I was going to say although I think I paid a little more. I'm not using it yet but it was rated very well.

Graco Comforsport! Less than $100 and has great ratings and cute patterns (for girls at least!)

The Evenflo Triumph is about $120-140 depending on where you go. It has high consumer ratings very close to the Britax seats.

Does anyone have the graco comfort sport in their cars? I am looking to buy one for my moms car, which we arent in often. She has a 4 door hyundai and I dont want to overtake her backseat. Just wondering if this was HUGE or bearable?

I believe the Evenflo Triumph got about the same ratings as the Britaxs and they cost half as much. The new ones have 50lb weight limits and are really nice.

We have the Comfort Sport in the Passat. A smaller person can fit in the middle and the other seat space is fine.
I believe this seat is also size appropriate for and airplane seat.

when we registered we asked the salesman and he recommended the evenflo, said it was just as good as the britax

There are 15% off BRU coupons out there. We used them to buy two Evenflo Triumphs...they were about $150 each with the coupons.

Is that the gray one? I think I have that one too, but I think I paid $99. I love it it's easy to get in and out of the car if you need to and it's easy to adjust the straps.

I have it in the middle of the back of my Honda Civic Sedan and my skinny friends can sit on either side. I had a problem with the Triumph because the back is not as high and the Graco and when it's rear facing I had to put my seats quite far up. The Graco has a higher back and I didn't have to move the seats up, now that DD is forward facing it's perfect.

I have the britax's in my car and we have the graco comfort sports in my dh's car.
I got the comfort sports at BRU for $60 each, they were having a 15% off all car seats sale and also make sure you ask for the twin discount.
