can petite girls wear over the knee boots?

I think I might look like I lost my legs...but I love these:




Any thoughts on short girls and this new trend?

I am a firm beleiver that there are just some things you should not wear if you're not 5'11" and 120 lbs .......Trendy or fabulous or the most beautiful thing you've ever laid eyes on .....it's a fact that certain things do NOT work well on certain body types -

Unless you are VERY VERY VERY thin (and I say *you* as in, anyone and everyone in general) I don't think over the knee boots would look good on a petite person ...........

I don't buy the you have to be 5'11 and 120 to wear a trend....

Kim karadashian is 5'2ish and she wears them....so I plan on trying it this season

I am 5'2 and people on this board have said that people my height shouldn't wear knee high boots with jeans tucked in....and I wore that weekly last year and it looked great!!!

I say try it and see how you feel and look!

I'm a touch over 5' 2", and I don't wear over the knee boots. My legs are too short and get cut off when I try them on.

But that is just me, I don't think it means no one under 5' 11" can wear them.

I think it depends on leg to torso length. If you are short gal with long legs it could work. I don't think you have to be stick skinny but I'm not sure this would look right on a short plus size gal either.

I have very similar boots and I'm BARELY 5 foot.

I guess I have kind of long legs for being so short and a shorter torso, but I'm not super skinny or anything.

I wear them with jeans tucked in or nice black leggings.

I will say that I feel like I have to try a bit harder with those boots to make an outfit as to not make my legs look stuby, but I definitely can find things that look good with them.

If you like them, get them!

I'm 5'1 and I think I pulled off knee high boots pretty well...I don't think you have to be 5'11 and 120 lbs to pull it off at all....I say go for it...you'll know if you are comfy or not





ETA: I was self concious at first about doing it b/c I felt my legs looked stumpy but once you get comfy, you'll like it! I will say not everything goes with it but I do enjoy wearing my leggings, sweater dreses and knee high boots....and you could totally wear those boots with something like that!
