I just want to say that each and every one of you have touched me in a way I can't even describe, and are making me dread having to go back to work, even though these passed few weeks have not been easy.

I didn't think I'd get as emotional as I have been getting reading these letters, but I guess it's part of being a mom/new mom and not wanting to leave your DC.

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing with us. You have all inspired me to focus on the time I spend with DD as something I will always treasure and miss once I go back to work, and not so much on the deprivation of sleep.

awww..it will be o.k.
U do not know what a treasure you found. Do you know how many times a first time mom--(I know I did it) takes some thing for granted? u already realize not to and how important it is.
The day will pass quickly and u will come home to her!
Did u start writing letters to her?
i started with my first kids--keeping a journal and then I let it get away from me..I regret it.

yeah- i wasnt a part of this website when hannah was born...i joined when she was about 9 months....im sure i wouldve been that mom that asks- UGH- WHEN WILL SHE SLEEP!!!!????

BUT, i have said on this site many times....that those first 6 months, with her waking up 2 sometimes 3 times a nite, me being so incredibly sleep deprived, i would do it all over again...why? bc i miss her needing me! the girl sleeps from 930/10pm til 930/10am every nite, and has done so for months....and ill go back to those first 6 months when she needed me in the wee hours, and id walk into her room with my eyes closed, pick her up, and rock her of BF her til she fell back asleep (usually it would take about 2 minutes, which is why it wasa so darn frustrating to me- why even wake up little one??!!

so yes, i blinked, and those first 6 months are gone, and now im the one waking up and waiting for her to wake up...so just enjoy it- as hard as it is, it gets way easier, and then like me, 14 months down the road, youll remember when u got no sleep, and think why did i even care....???
